Resident Geek:
Who am I?
It was a cold, cold January morning in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The year: 1980. On this fateful day, the world would welcome many new souls. Among them: yours truly.
My name is Tieson Trowbridge. Welcome to my website...
What do I do?
I am a part-time retail clerk at Meijer Great Lakes Limited Partnership, or Meijer
to most people. I am also currently a student-employee at Grand Rapids Community
College, where I am a tutor
in the Open Computer Lab in the Applied Technology
Center, or ATC for short.
What do I know?
Well, back in the day, I managed to complete a certification program in Computer Aided Drafting, or CAD, from the Newaygo County Career Technical Center. But that was a long time ago...
I recently completed my Associates in Computer Information Systems at Grand Rapids Community College. I am now dual-enrolled at GRCC and Ferris State University as I pursue my Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Software Engineering.
As part of my Associates program, I studied an assortment of programming languages, namely: Visual C++.NET; Visual C#.NET; Java, utilizing the Eclipse IDE; and Visual Basic.NET (although I prefer to not admit to that...)
Not being entirely satisfied, I have also recently endevoured to learn web site design, the fruits of which you see before you. I now have a rudimentary grasp of XHTML and CSS, and have a loose understanding of PHP. Up next: AJAX!!
Special thanks go out to Karen Bauman, my mentor in everything web-centric. Karen, you rock!!
